There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

We proudly host Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics Carnivals, giving every student a chance to shine. Our elite athletes also have the opportunity to represent Belmont PS at higher levels of competition.

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for our gifted and talented students, including Chess, Debating, Maths Olympiad, Maths Explorer, Maths Quest, Littlescribe (writing), Game Changers, Tournament of Minds, Band, Choir, and Public Speaking

We value strong connections with our community, including regular visits from our local Police Youth Liaison Officer, Elke. Students always look forward to her visits—especially when she brings along her friendly furry companions

Our proactive P&C creates unforgettable opportunities for our students and community, including Colour Fun Runs, Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, fundraising events, and so much more.

We provide a wide range of sporting opportunities for our students to showcase their talents at every level, including competitive competitions and gala days for all ages.

We love celebrating special milestones with our school community, including 100 Days of Kindy, Grandparents Day, Education Week, and many more memorable events

Creativity is at the heart of who we are. We provide students of all ages with rich opportunities to express themselves across a wide range of creative arts platforms.

Book Week is always a highlight of the year, where we come together to celebrate our love of reading with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of fun.

Throughout the year, our students enjoy a variety of extra-curricular opportunities that enrich their learning both in and out of the classroom. These include Stage 2 and 3 overnight camps, engaging excursions, and local area visits and much more.

We proudly provide a wide range of cultural opportunities for our students. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are supported to connect with, celebrate, and immerse themselves in their culture, while our EAL/D students enjoy opportunities such as Harmony Day and other events that celebrate and share the diverse backgrounds within our school community.
